Milan Meets Naples & Opera Begins...

Italian Natives Diego and Maurizio founded Opera Patisserie.ie back in 2011. 

Supplying the Greater Dublin area and Wicklow with their handmade bakery selection. 

9 years later they decided to expand and (in the middle of a pandemic) open their own shop in the heart of Wicklow Town. 

October 2020 saw Opera Wicklow open their doors!

What once was hidden behind other cafes and shops now has its own Casa!

 

In Wicklow, Opera shares their love of patisserie, fine wine and gourmet deli items.

Our team is made up of a group of amazing characters and we wouldn’t be here without them.

A family run business providing our kitchen with their Cheddar cheese wheel weekly. 

The pride they have in their happy cows, who live at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains, in Co. Offaly, makes this cheese extra special. All of their products are made using the freshest possible milk with the least amount of processing possible. 

Be sure to check out their natural yogurt in our fridge, which has no milk powders added and is not homogenised. While their cheese can be seen in our sandwiches and pizza range. 

A tale of Irish history and Scandinavian heritage, the Burren Smokehouse was born in 1989.

Multi-award wining smoked salmon from Lisdonvarna. Birgitta and her team (including husband Peter) have invested their heart and soul into creating the best tasting smoked salmon enjoyed by royalty and YOU!

Lynda and her team of hens live the free range life in Wicklow. Delivering us with the best quality eggs for all of our menu items (containing egg of course). 
 
Continually exceeding expectations, Ballynerrin free range eggs are also used in our bakery to make them extra special. 
 
Everything is done by Lynda’s team and it shows.
They produce, grade, pack and deliver! (in every meaning of the word).

Sandra and Fergus raise traditional breed pigs in small groups in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

They believe that raising them in their natural environment creates the most flavoursome succulent meat (and so do we!). 

Pigs on the Green meats can be enjoyed on all of our menus, from our bacon to our porchetta which is hand-rolled and stuffed pork-belly prepared by our Italian chef. 

Clement & Pekoe

Clement & Pekoe are here to elevate the everyday tea drinker.

Their teas are steeped, sampled and judged before being added to the menu.

Honouring the work of the small farms your are sure to be transported by the unique flavours of each cup. 

Our selection of loose leaf teas by Clement & Pekoe are available instore, with options to purchase their retail bags to take home too. 

Award-wining Silverskin coffee has been roasting since 2012 in the big smoke (Dublin). 

Brian’s passion for coffee and his experience in the industry shines through in every cup of coffee. Sourcing the finest arabica beans for every roast. 

Silverskin Ulysses Blend is our coffee of choice with notes of caramel, milk chocolate and citric acidity we find this suits our range of coffees available in store. Weather you are looking for the kick of a double espresso or creaminess of a latte, Silverskin hits the spot! 

You can find a selection of Silverskin coffee pots in store in whole-bean or ground options so that you can experience great coffee at home too.
